This proc is defined in ':SystemCode:win.tcl'. Press the Escape key, then the "X" key, and then type "wintiled" (into the StatusWin), and then hit the Return key. _All_ of the currently opened windows will be rearranged in the diagonal cascade style. If you don't like the way it arranges windows, just copy the 'wintiled' proc definition over to your 'prefs.tcl' file, then rename it to "myTiling" or something, and then modify the proc definition to whatever way you like. Or, you could ask Chuck (the maintainer of the 'win.tcl' file) to do that for you, by explicitly specifying what you want your window-tiling proc to do. Why on earth the 'wintiled' proc is not added under anywhere inside the [Windows] menu is beyond my imagination... (Alpha 6.52 certainly has the [Vertically/Horizontally/Tiled/Overlay] items under the [Windows:Arrange:] submenu...) Mark -- Mark Nagata mailto:nagata@kurims.kyoto-u.ac.jp
