List admin One possibility would be to try and get the current list-serv admin to shut this discussion down and auto-respond to new subscribers with the correct info. I understand the current list-serv seems to be on auto pilot, but the website certainly shows signs of being maintained. I found several pages updated as late as September 14, 2000. The list-serv manager's email is: <listmgr@mailbox.syr.edu>. Perhaps if Vince or Pete contacted them and mentioned what's up, this could be resolved. Of course, if the list-serv manager is still alive and actively managing the server, he could give someone in the cabal a new password for managing the list and all would be well -- the decision to move would be purely a matter of "what's best for the group?" --Aaron ------------- On 2/25/01 14:27 Jon Guyer (jguyer@HIS.COM) wrote: >At 9:18 PM +0100 2/25/01, Johan Linde wrote: >>I'm all for moving the list to a place where it can be maintained, >>but I see one problem which somehow has to be solved.
