This is a real complaint on the current implementation of 'twiddle' in 7.4.1. Mr. Noyb was the first to complain, and David followed, and I agreed with their complaints. Vince has also encouraged discussion about how we prefer the 'twiddle' behaviour. I then proposed an alternative proc definition. True, it's Pete's original code, but it works fine under 7.4.1 (I have no idea about Alpha8 and Alphatk, though). Why on earth couldn't it be a feature suggestion for 7.5? > Mind you, I don't think I've ever twiddled in my life and don't care > how this particular feature behaves. > If you object to our suggestion, you should give us an explicit "good reason" for the 7.4.1 'twiddle' behaviour, and should also give answer to David's complaint: > (ii) however, was GREATLY missed, and I am delighted to > have it back.
