Wrong assumption.  The 'twiddle' behaviour was changed in its essential
priciple (for some reason I can't imagine), and that has nothing to do
with the exceptional case of the selection starting from the beginning of 
the file.  Anyway, I believe the standard usage of 'twiddle' is to be
run when nothing is selected, and the 7.4.1 'twiddle' behaviour is
totally different with that of my suggested code, with _nothing selected
when the proc is run_.

I have never meant anything like that.  I mean to make a constructive
suggestion, toward a better AlphaTcl.
