Do you seriously think an interface that _forces_ me to type "po2", when windows named "prefs.tcl", "prompts.tcl" and "prompts2.tcl" are open, is a good interface? I think it is crazy. I have to _think_ _hard_, to be able to select-type "po2". That's unnatural. That demands me to concentrate on something other than I am thinking of while I am using a text editor. That's not what a completion should do. When I use the proc, my mind is only thinking of the name "prompts2.tcl" that I want to switch to. I should be able to type _the_first_part_ of that name, _not_ the non-contiguous "po2" part, to be able to tell the text editor that that is what I want. Also, why doesn't hitting the delete key abort nor back-up the current candidate selection string? Currently, hitting the delete key does some very strange things on the StatusWin. (I guess this is yet another bug in the prompt::complete proc.) BTW, which "resources" are you talking about, Jon?
